The Army Cadet Service Medal

The Army Cadet Service Medal is presented to cadets who have completed four years of consecutive service. Service may be completed at any army cadet corps in Canada. But, must not have a break longer than one month. A bar is awarded for each year afterward.

Order of St. George Medal

The Order of St. George Medal is presented to the top Staff Cadets at each Cadet Training Centre every summer. These cadets have made an outstanding contribution to the Training Centre, have shown leadership and instructional abilities, and is regarded by peers and superiors as a model cadet. This medal is present at the Sunset Ceremony at the end of each summer.

The Army, Navy, Airforce Veterans in Canada Cadet Medal of Merit

The Army, Navy, Airforce Veterans in Canada Cadet Medal of Merit is a medal presented to the top cadet in each instructor level course. These cadets have shown that they can preform above and beyond the standard. This medal is presented at the sunset ceremony at the end of each summer.

The Major-General W. A. Howard Award

The Major-General W. A. Howard Award was created to recognize excellence in senior cadets. This award recognizes the cadet who achieves the top results in their Gold Star Training (Year 4). The award is presented at the beginning of the following training year as the cadet begins their Master Cadet Training (Year 5+).

The Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence

The Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence is presented annually to the cadet who has gone above and beyond to help serve their community. As well as participating in all mandatory corps training and 75% of optional training, this cadet also must complete 3 addition community service events outside of the cadet program. The medal recipient is selected by the Commanding Officer and the medal is presented at the Annual Ceremonial Review.

Lord Strathcona Trust Fund Medal​

The Lord Strathcona Trust Fund Medal is the top medal a cadet can receive other than the Cadet Award for Bravery. This award is presented annually to the top cadet of each corps who exemplifies all the aims of the cadet program. These include leadership, high physical fitness standards, high training  proficiency and being regarded as a exemplary cadet by peers and superiors.  The medal recipient is selected by the Commanding Officer and the medal is presented at the Annual Ceremonial Review.

The Cadet Award for Bravery

The Cadet Award for Bravery is presented to a cadet who has preformed an outstanding deed of valour and bravery. In which cadet has risked their life to save the life or property of others.
